Macadamia oil, boasting smooth and buttery flavours, is perfect for roasting, baking, grilling and deep-frying. An important characteristic of this oil is it’s high smoke point which is between 210°C and 234°C, it is second only to avocado oil.

Green Farms Nut Co. has always been an industry leader in raising the standard of our processing facilities to comply with ever increasingly stringent food standards and safety requirements.
All of our processing facilities have FSSC 22000 certification, which is the highest food safety standard possible. Strict adherence to agrochemical applications are carefully monitored and we encourage our grower suppliers to follow the best quality and food safety practices with in-house developed best-practice guidelines, and many of our suppliers are GLOBALG.A.P, HACCP and SIZA certified.
Biological control of pests and sustainable, environmentally-friendly farming practices are encouraged and a “new green revolution” is busy taking place. Our processing facilities are also Halal and Kosher-accredited to meet the religious dietary requirements of some of our customers.

Green Farms Nut Co. was the first macadamia processor in Africa to invest in this cutting-edge food safety technology, giving the food industry the confidence to increase their macadamia product lines, opening up new markets.
